(Click on pic for bigger image)Dawn cleaned my house while I was at work this morning. Washing on the line, windows all sparkling clean and it's beautiful afternoon in sunny Cape Town. On the line: revoltingly old but incredibly comfortable purple stretch pants, baggy tee shirt, son's socks, and other stuff .... on the window sill: pottery 'animals' created by my kids when they were in junior school and a dying pot plant.

As I brush the snow from my hair--deposited by yet another storm--your picture reminds me that summer will once again come to my hemispere.
