"We try to grab pieces of our life as they speed past. Photographs freeze those pieces and help us remember how we were."

You're a brave, brave woman. I don't dare tangle with my cords...
Bet you were a snake charmer in a former life :-)
I OTOH love the things. I even put extra ones in with no discernable purpose, just in case. I have two USB cables running lose just to hook up random cell phones and cameras.
I also use my computer as a recording and playback studio, so I have turntables and amps and all other kinds of fun stuff hooked up to it.
Cables everywhere. Drives the spouse nuts.
I love it.
Your spouse has my most profound sympathies! ;-)
I used to work as an RN in an intensive care, and did the same thing as this for my patients, who frequently had multiple IV lines, monitoring cords and other unmentionable pipes and tubes going in and out of their bodies and beds. Drove me nuts then too ....
